Functional medicine and wellness

Samantha franceschini
Clinical Nutritionist & Certified Lactation Counselor
Owner Nurture with Sam
For over a decade, Sam has specialized in functional medicine, supporting individuals with complex chronic conditions including Lyme disease, mold and biotoxin illness, autoimmune disease, hormone + thyroid imbalances, and chronic gut dysfunction. Through her work at some of the leading functional medicine clinics in the U.S., she developed a deep understanding of how nutrient depletion, environmental stressors, and chronic infections can impact the body over time.
After becoming a mother herself, Sam experienced firsthand the gaps that often exist in maternal healthcare. Her personal experience led her to become deeply passionate about supporting women through preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum, helping mothers feel more nourished, supported, and empowered throughout this transformative season of life. She also recognized that many of the chronic conditions she had spent years treating such as autoimmune disease, and thyroid dysfunction, often emerge or worsen during the postpartum period when the body is depleted and under significant demand.
Sam’s specializes in Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), which she integrates into her programs to help assess mineral balance, stress patterns, metabolic function, and nervous system balance. During pregnancy and postpartum, when nutrient demands are especially high, HTMA can provide valuable insight into how to gently rebuild the body’s mineral foundation and support long-term resilience.
"I truly believe symptoms are signals, not something to simply push through." - Samantha Franceschini

"I truly stand behind the food-is-medicine model, because before our world has evolved to what it is today - nutritious food and good health was at the core of thriving populations. That's why I began to focus my care for mothers and families - the start of generational health starts with women." - Kellie Abrams, RD
