What Your Child's Day Looks Like

Arrival & Gathering Circle:   Children arrive at the farm and come together as a group to settle into the day. We sing our welcom song and share a morning story before diving into the morning's work.

Montessori Work Cycle:   Hands-on, self-directed activities designed for ages 2–4 such as tray work, pouring, sorting, and practical life skills, all set up outdoors.

​

Water Play & Sensory Exploration:   A dedicated water station and sandbox where children explore through pouring, scooping, digging, and building.

​

Farm Exploration:  Each day we will take time for a nature walk over to The Flower Garden to allow for children to see the flowers, observe nearby animals, see what's growing, and connect with the land.

​

Nature-Based Art:   We will do a daily group art project and create from the natural materials children find and collect throughout their morning and items we collect from our local landscape and beaches.

​

Group Snack:   A shared snack together where children learn the skills of dining together and being in community.

​

Closing Circle:  Each day we will end with a music circle, dancing and instrument play. We end each day the way we began together with music, songs, and stories before pickup.​
