Innate Postpartum Care WORKSHOP for NEW MOMS Tentative Workshop Schedule: Community Connection & Grounding in Exercise (15 min) Overview of the physiological needs of the postpartum female body and mother-baby dyad bond, and the 5 Postpartum Recovery Essentials: Rest, Warmth, Warm Nutrient-Dense Food, Bodywork, Community (30 min) Community Q&A, based on the Innate Postpartum Care approach to real-time postpartum challenges (30 min) Group-facilitated Birth Energy Integration Meditation from Wild Mothering, by Tami Lynn Kent (creator of Holistic Pelvic CareTM) (30 min) Closing circle & Community Connection (15 min) Date: Monday May 5th Time: 11:30am-1:30pm Cost: $49 per couple. If partner is not available, Mother is strongly encouraged to invite 1 family member or friend to learn why most Postpartum Care Essentials require the support from other caregivers. Teacher: Christine Conforti, Certified Innate Postpartum Care Practitioner Based on modern science and cross-cultural healing traditions, Innate Postpartum Care Education is rooted in the physiology (the Why) and the practical application (the How) of the 5 Postpartum Recovery Essentials for mothers after birth: Rest, Warmth, Warm Nutrient-Dense Food, Bodywork, & Community developed by Rachelle Garcia. Ultimately, physiological postpartum care is a guide to preventative maternal medicine, designed to avoid the most common modern postpartum challenges, including: postpartum depression, prolapse, incontinence, gallbladder/digestive issues, and breastfeeding challenges.
